KidzArt: For Every Stage
of Artistic Development
Students of all ages are introduced to the delightful world of creative arts at KidzArt. Ideally those who start with KidzArt in preschool, will ‘graduate’ to our grade school and high school programs. Our curriculum is evolving and never repeated, with dynamic classes that grow with our students year after year. Each of our fun and exciting programs meets or exceeds the National Standards for Arts Education.
After-School Classes
KidzArt offers the following one-hour after-school classes at over 60 schools in the greater Sacramento area. For more information or to register, please visit our classes page.
"This year here at Galveston Elementary, we decided to try Kidzart as our after school Art Club. It has been a huge success and we are very happy with the results. Kidzart has an excellent curriculum designed to teach students different art techniques each week. After every one-hour session, we have a high quality product to display on campus, which the staff and students have come to look forward to. Participating students range from second through fifth grade, and Kidzart gives each child the confidence to create something personal at his/her own level. The staff at Kidzart has proven themselves to be professional, competent and friendly. They are very flexible with our needs and I highly recommend the program to any interested party."

“Providing a quality art program was important for our Summer Day Camp. We found that KidzArt was the perfect solution…they designed their art lessons each week around our weekly themes and really taught our participants that they could all be little artists. Not only did the kids look forward to their KidzArt Day, so did the staff and parents!
“Having KidzArt in our Summer Day Camp was a great decision. We loved to be able to provide our participants this great art program, as well as have something in our camp that the competition did not provide. KidzArt was a great addition to KydZonE eXtreme Summer Day Camp.”

KidzArt Certifications
KidzArt is affiliated with several organizations both on a National and State level. We strive to bring the highest quality art enrichment program to students of all ages. In partnering with local, state, and national organizations KidzArt is able to support the vision that all children and youth deserve access to quality, safe, and enriching after school programs.
On a National level KidzArt is proud to be affiliated with the National After School Alliance, Lights On! Campaign, National Afterschool Association, and After School For All~Project 2010. On a local level KidzArt is a valued partner and volunteer committee member for The Arizona School-Aged Coalition (AzSAC), part of AZ Out of School Time Network, and member of the Arizona Family Enrichment Alliance.
As a business KidzArt is the premier art enrichment program in the Nation. KidzArt has been nominated “Top Art Franchise” and “Best of the Best” in Entrepreneur Magazine. KidzArt has also ranked in “Franchise Times Fast 55” for the past three years. Our affiliations include, IFA (International Franchise Association), certification by FRAN (Franchise Research Institute), and proud member of Minority FRAN. It is our belief that in order to bring the highest quality program to children and youth a strong business foundation needs to be in place. As a business KidzArt also not only meets but exceeds standards.
In partnering with several organizations on both the National and State level we join in the effort to make quality programs available to all children and youth regardless of cost. One way we have done this on a local level is through our Outreach programs. KidzArt has sponsored the art programs at the Thomas J. Pappas School for the homeless, the Mesa Child Crisis Center, and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. It’s been an amazing experience to be able to give back to the community that supports us. We are always looking for local partners to help us continue to make this program available to these kids.
Summer Camps & Workshops
Summer camps and workshops give your child the opportunity to really get into their artwork. These programs usually last from 3-5 hours per day and typically have a theme. With longer blocks of time and more mediums and projects your child will take their art to a whole new level. Friends and family of our campers are invited to attend the art gallery at the end of camp. The gallery is a great way for all of our aspiring artists to display their work.
Summer Camp 2008 brings two exciting theme camps, KidzArt Caribbean Adventure: A Pirate’s Treasure and KidzArt Jungle Tour Adventure. For more details about these camps, current dates and locations please visit our classes/camps page.
If you would like to recommend a location for a camp or program, please email margaret@azkidzart.com.
