Interested in teaching KidzArt? Classes are usually offered Monday through Friday between 2-4 p.m. and some weekends. Must be dependable, reliable, energetic, love kids and be creative/artistic, some teaching experience a plus.
About the Owners
- Cookie Contacessi, Owner, Certified Instructor
Cookie Contacessi, Co-Owner and Certified Instructor, was raised here in the East Valley. While growing up and attending area schools Cookie sensed the inherent importance both family and community play in raising socially, emotionally, and academically healthy children. A career opportunity in the automotive industry led Cookie to San Diego, California. During this time she was able to do what she loves, which is interact with people and use creative problem solving skills in sales and marketing. Even though the fast paced industry was exciting, Cookie sensed the need to offer something more to her community. She discovered KidzArt Arizona a program that not only supports the arts, but gives children (of all ages) skills that can be used in all areas of life. "It's a win-win situation. Bringing this wonderful program to children where I was raised and where my family lives is a great way to stay involved and give back to the East Valley."
